Security deposit This is the amount you must leave with the issuing entity (CCL) until the end of the Carnet's use and its return. The security deposit amount must be 40% of the value of the goods declared in it, and will be refunded to the applicant once the issuing entity (CCL) has confirmed proper return at the end of its use.
