Counterfoils:

They are divided into 3, each represented by a color. It's important that customs properly stamp these counterfoils and store them correctly in the carnet according to the following colors:

Yellow Counterfoil: Used at the time of the export and re-importation, in addition to being listed in pairs.

White Counterfoil: Used by the foreign customs at the time of import and re-export, also lists in pairs.

Blue Counterfoil: Used for transit operations.

Vouchers or Receipts

They are used as a customs and guarantee declaration; that is, they will be separated from the booklet and kept by customs.

There are five types of vouchers and each one will be followed by a general list of products.

RE-EXPORT VOUCHER

TRANSIT VOUCHER

The holder and customs must use the corresponding voucher and counterfoil. For example, when exporting, the holder must use the yellow export voucher to declare; in return, the Customs officer will separate the voucher, record any observations, and stamp the yellow export counterfoil.

General List

Contains details of the goods covered by the ATA carnet and should be printed on the reverse side of the cover and each proof and/or voucher.

Standardized continuation sheets should be used for multi-page lists (when one page isn't enough to list all items), and continuation sheets must be the same color as the cover and vouchers.
